Education: Born and raised in Stafford County, Virginia, Genevieve graduated from Mountain View High School with an advanced diploma and credits for AP Comparative Government and AP European History. Genevieve also completed IB’s Language and Literature and Psychology courses. She is currently enrolled at GMU pursuing a BS in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems. 

Experience: Genevieve spent much of high school informally tutoring fellow classmates and her younger siblings. Attending a school with AP, IB, and DE programs gave her many first- and second-hand experiences with these programs’ benefits and expectations. She has been an MLS team member since 2024. 

Specialties: Genevieve loves working at all levels of American and global history, and particularly enjoys its overlap with government, culture, and politics. She also excels in writing comprehension, literary analysis, and essay composition.  Genevieve is excellent at supporting students with executive functioning and organizational needs given her “light supportive touch”  and ability to “sell” EF! She firmly believes all students deserve a fair chance to excel in academics, and compassionate support is the best method to draw out their best work.
