CANCELLATION POLICY AND PROCEDURES

In order for our program to best benefit your student it is critical we see your student weekly to establish a rhythm of work. We are flexible in adjusting to client schedules, but only if notice of cancellation is received before 6 PM the day before the tutoring session. To cancel or reschedule, please email scheduling@mlstutors.com. Cancellations made after 6PM the day before the tutoring session will result in a full charge of the scheduled session(s). In the event of inclement weather, sudden illness and emergencies, this policy may be waived.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Safety comes first but we often stay open when school is closed so please check our website, www.mlstutors.com, for inclement weather updates. We will also do our best to notify you by email as soon as we have confirmed our status for that day.

PAYMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Monthly payment by credit card is appreciated. Your card will be charged at the beginning of the month for fees associated with tutoring services rendered the previous month. You will receive a detailed statement by email reflecting your payment. If you prefer to pay by check you may use our online capability (direct debit from checking or savings) using the link in your invoice to access the online payment portal. Checks should be made out to MLS Educational Consultants and mailed to 6830 Elm St., Carriage House Second Floor, McLean, VA 22101, ATTN: Loretta.

All charges for tutoring are due and payable on receipt. For any amount unpaid after seven (7) business days, a 1.5% monthly service charge, a $10.00 monthly billing fee and a $10.00 monthly late fee will be applied. Should your account be referred for collection, you agree to pay the costs of collection including attorney fees and other costs of litigation.

Privacy Policy

MLS will not at any time share your address, phone number or email with any third party. Student scores and testing will not be shared with any other professionals except with expressed written permission. Students should be aware that tutors will keep parents abreast of their progress.
