Education: Kian graduated from Langley High School in 2019 with an advanced diploma. With his older brother, Kian attended MLS as a student during his high school years, giving him a unique way of viewing tutoring. He graduated from George Mason University in 2023 with a BA in Psychology. Kian plans to continue his education by earning a PhD in behavioral psychology. 

Experience: Kian worked on two separate research studies, the first relating to anxiety and performance model, and the second with Alzheimer’s memory retention in relation to pattern recognition. Kian also worked as a behavioral recovery specialist in 2022 who assisted individuals with severe mental illness in daily life. During his time as a behavioral recovery specialist, Kian obtained a greater understanding of how one is able to communicate certain ideas and methods to other individuals who may see the world differently than himself. 

Specialties: Beyond psychology, Kian is at home in the worlds of mathematics and physics, and he is proficient in history and theology. Kian works to make sure students are prepared for their classes both academically and in terms of personal organization. For fun, Kian enjoys cycling around the winding backwood trails near his house, and he has also begun to learn the complex art of cooking.
