Michael’s Full Bio

Education:  Michael graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University with a degree in International Politics.  During his time at Georgetown, Michael studied abroad at the American University in Cairo.  Michael has also earned a J.D. from Columbia University and an LL.M from the King’s College School of Law in London.  During law school, he served as an Articles and Solicitations Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law.  

Experience:  Michael has many years of experience tutoring students preparing for the SAT.  After college, Michael taught English as a Second Language to international students at Georgetown Preparatory School.  In law school, Michael taught basic legal concepts to high school students through the High School Law Institute, and also served as a Student Editor guiding first year law students through the Foundation Moot Court program.  After a stint in private practice as an attorney, Michael was happy to return to education with MLS in 2021. 

Specialties:  Michael provides group and individual academic tutoring and executive function support to students of all ages in all subjects.  He particularly enjoys preparing students for standardized tests, helping students tackle long research papers or projects, and teaching students how to master the humanities, including English, History, and Government/Civics.
