Noah’s Full Bio

Education: Noah received his B.A. in Biochemistry from New College of Florida, and later completed graduate-level coursework at Mary Baldwin University to secure full Virginia teaching licensure.

Experience: Noah has extensive experience in education, beginning with a two-year AmeriCorps service term at Aspire Afterschool Learning in Arlington, VA. He then joined MLS Educational Consultants as a part time tutor, then Program Coordinator. In 2019 he joined Stone Bridge High School as a Biology and Chemistry teacher, where he redesigned the Academic Chemistry curriculum to better serve students. He is currently in his sixth year in Loudoun County Public Schools, now teaching Honors and AP Chemistry at Independence High School. Outside of class, he also works closely with Independent Science Research classes and projects, and sponsors the Indy iGem club’s research into Lyme Disease vaccines.

Specialties: Noah specializes in STEM fields, with expertise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and mathematics. He maintains VA teaching certification to teach Biology and AP Biology, and currently teaches both Honors and AP Chemistry in LCPS. He also has a decade of experience working with students one-on-one on Honors and AP Physics (1, 2, and C: Mechanics), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Precalculus, and AP Calculus (AB and BC). His breadth of experience with stem content allows him to meet students where they are and ensure they understand the mathematical background to succeed in higher level science and math classes.
