Education: Haley graduated from Kaiser High School in Honolulu, Hawaii with an IB Diploma. She went on to attend University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology in 2017. Departing from the islands, Haley earned her joint M.A. in Anthropology and Women’s, Sexuality, and Gender Studies at Brandeis University the following year. In 2022, Haley earned a graduate certificate in Learning Differences and Neurodiversity with a specialization in executive functioning through Landmark College.

Experience: While studying at the University of Hawaii, Haley worked closely with the university’s athletes as an academic mentor, emphasizing organization and self-efficacy for first year students transitioning to a college curriculum. Haley has also worked as a writing consultant for both undergraduate and graduate students, providing assistance at any point of the writing process across a wide range of disciplines. Since joining MLS Educational Consultants, Haley has worked with students of all ages, specializing in elementary and middle school academics. 

Specialties: Haley enjoys assisting students of all ages in developing writing and literary analysis skills. By enthusiastically working with each student on fleshing out their own ideas, Haley strives to have students recognize their potential and gain confidence in their writing. In addition, Haley works with younger students in reading and math. In all aspects of her tutoring, Haley emphasizes the development of critical executive functioning skills.
